When it starts up in Summer we can get a little stir crazy being inside an air conditioned house all day. During a week-long heat wave, I came up with some art projects and experiments to try that harnessed the energy of the sun. Here are three quick down and dirty ideas.
I’ve decided to keep the monthly project of making a calendar with my kindergarten boy through the Summer. It’s a great way for him to practice cutting, writing numbers and following directions. Since June is usually the month we go on our annual camping trip, I thought I’d make our calendar art this month have a camping theme!
Last weekend I took my son to his first drive-by birthday celebration. We loaded into the car and drove past his friend’s house to wish him the best on his special day. I guess that is the world we live in now!
